Comedy serves as a social corrective, for beneath the laughter are layers of social commentary that force us to confront realities that we might prefer to ignore. Humorist Steve Bhaerman uses his unique brand of political comedy to make serious observations about life, politics and the state of civil discourse in a divided country.
