About this theme

Why Common Ground, and why now

Seeds is an invitation, not an argument. The climate conversation has been flattened into carbon math; the land conversation, into commodity prices. This theme exists because the people doing the most interesting work — rematriating seed libraries, rebuilding watersheds, holding space for slow food systems — rarely get to set the frame. Here they do. Expect pathways built by curators who have spent years in the work, not weeks on the reading list.

Common Ground is one of six themes on OPEN

Each theme is a door into curated pathways, films, and writing. Pick the one that pulls you — or step back and see the whole shape of the project.
