Stereotypes about artistic talent traditionally center on white males, whether gay or not. What are the challenges faced by women, particularly lesbians or bisexuals who are BIPOC? What are the unique talents and needs of transgender artists or of LGBTQ artists across different media? If LGBTQ individuals are, in fact, overrepresented in artistic fields, why might that be?
