Barbara Rose: Dali, Duchamp & the New York Art World-A Personal

American Art Historian and Art Critic Barbara Rose has been part of the New York art world since the 1960s, writing eloquently on topics ranging from Minimalism to Neo-Dada to Art and Technology. Her articles have appeared in such journals as Art in America, Artforum, the Partisan Review and New York magazine.

For this talk, Rose will share her insights into that world as it intersected with Dali and Duchamp, two artists she personally met, and how their ideas influenced or countered the prevailing artistic trends.
