ASPCA Animal Cruelty Investigations Workshop

This is a free, in-person training about animal cruelty investigations, offered to law enforcement and humane law enforcement officers.

Due to the hands-on nature and limited space, only two individuals per agency are allowed to attend.

  • 4th Amendment and Drafting Search Warrants
  • Animal Fighting
  • The Veterinarian’s Role in Successful Case Outcomes
  • Specific Considerations in Crime Scene Documentation and the Analysis of Forensic Evidence
  • Animals as Evidence: Documentation and Removal of Live Animal Evidence
  • Participate in mock scene documentation and other hands-on exercises
