About this Event

Both English & Spanish classes are offered on the same day at the same location. This is the required class for those doing work in the lawn and landscape maintenance industry such as mowing, pruning, and landscape debris management.

Class is held at Pinellas Technical College – St. Petersburg Campus. The course will be in the Horticulture Room. Located nearest to the East exit of Pinellas Technical College. In the event that you get lost, please call 727-337-5309, or text.

  • 1.Photo ID is required. Without photo ID you cannot attend the class and will have to pay to re-register.
  • 2.Please arrive 15 minutes prior to class start. Class will start on time. If you are late you may be turned away and will have to pay to re-register.

To obtain certification you will need to pass a test. By passing the test, you will be awarded a certificate, wallet card and an Affidavit to Obtain the Pinellas County vehicle decal at the end of the class. The certificate and wallet card will be quickly sent to Pinellas County Division of Environmental Management. It is your responsibility to contact Pinellas Coumty to obtain the Vehicle Decal.

This class is offered at a cost of $35.00/person and is an approximately 3 hour course..

Cancellations – If your class is canceled for any reason you will be notified no less than 24 hours prior to class start. We will make every attempt to reschedule you fora future date or provide a full refund for cancellations made by Pinellas County.

Payment – We require full payment at time of reservation so be prepared with a credit card to complete this transaction.

Refunds – Refunds will be made in the event of a class cancellation or if the registrant requests a refund 24 hours prior to the class time. Refunds may take up to 30 days to process.
